Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Zenzu (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Zenzu is a language learning application that allows users to import content (YouTube videos, podcasts, text, photos), create flashcard decks, take AI-generated courses, and review vocabulary using spaced repetition. The Service is available via web (zenzu.app) and mobile apps (iOS).

User Accounts

• You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (flashcards, decks, notes). By publishing a deck to the Community, you grant Zenzu a non-exclusive license to display it to other users. You can unpublish at any time.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Publish offensive, harmful, or misleading content to the Community
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content

Third-Party Content

Zenzu allows you to import content from YouTube, podcasts, and other sources for personal language learning. This content remains the property of its original creators. Zenzu does not host, redistribute, or claim ownership of third-party content. Transcription and subtitle features are provided for educational purposes under fair use principles.

AI-Generated Content

Course lessons, vocabulary extraction, and translations are generated by AI (Google Gemini). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. It should not be relied upon as the sole source of language instruction.

Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability.

Pricing

Zenzu is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future. We will notify existing users before any pricing changes take effect.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@zenzu.app.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Zenzu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable international law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through binding arbitration.
